Bread Week

ΠΑΡΑΔΟΣΙΑΚΟΙ ΧΟΡΟΙ

In the second year of Bread Week, the art we are showcasing in our stores is traditional dance. We are collaborating with the Cultural Association “Kassandra”, the Pontian Union of Panorama, and the Women’s Cultural Association of Pylaia “Kapoutzida” to organize dance evenings at our stores in Pylaia and Kassandra.

On Saturday, October 11th, we welcome to our Kassandra store the members of “Kassandra”, who will perform dances from Halkidiki and Macedonia, accompanied by live music. A day later, on Sunday, October 12th, the Pontian Union of Panorama will host a traditional Pontian celebration with the lyra at our Pylaia store in Thessaloniki. Finally, the highlight of the festival will take place on World Bread Day, October 16th, when the members of “Kapoutzida”, dressed in their traditional costumes, will bring Pylaia’s dances to the stage.

In addition to the dance nights, there will also be an event on Tuesday, October 14th, where the Cultural Association “Kassandra” will present local customs and traditions, including live reenactments of traditional rituals.
